Assessment is mandatory

For all children seeking admission from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13.

The admissions procedure is made up of 4 steps: an Online Q & A session, online application, an assessment and registration

All steps need to be booked by appointment.

The 5 Step Admissions Process

Step 1 – Online Q & A Sessions

Kindly contact us via email or telephone to book an online Q&A session at Scholars International Academy. The Q&A session aims to provide an insight on the British Curriculum, our Education Philosophy, School Facilities and our Engaging Learning Environment.

Step 2 – To Inquire or Book a Tour

Admissions Manager,  Ms. Sara Homaydi at admissions@sia.ae or call the landline number 06 519 7000 for a link to the Online Application form.

Step 4 – Student Assessment (Mandatory)

Kindly note that the non-refundable assessment fees of AED 200 is payable online.

The purpose of the assessment is to gain an understanding of the child’s stage of language development, knowledge, abilities and experience in relation to our academic programme.

There is no preparation required for the Assessment and it is not the only deciding factor as to whether a seat is offered. This is not an exam but merely a guide for us to identify each learner’s capabilities and to allow the admissions team to make the most informed decisions regarding placement for your child, the class and class teacher.

You will be contacted within 24 hours from the date of the assessment. If your child is offered a seat at SIA, you will be asked to proceed with registration.

PLEASE NOTE: For entry into Years 1 to 13, successful completion of the assessment and review of school documents is required and for Years 10-13 the same is followed by an interview with the Principal or Head of Secondary regarding subject selection.
