The Innovation Scholarship at SIA is crafted for the forward-thinkers and the trailblazers. It caters to students who are not only technologically adept but are also constantly devising novel solutions to complex problems. This scholarship fuels the fire of creativity and supports those who dare to think differently and innovate.

Entry Criteria

  • Assess students' interest and passion for innovation and technology through written statements, interviews, or project demonstrations. Look for evidence of curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm in exploring these fields.
  • Students to submit innovation projects they have worked on, such as science fair projects, coding projects, robotics creations, or inventions. Also, certificates received for participation (e.g. Lego League, F1 etc.). Evaluate the originality, complexity, and impact of these projects.
  • Assess students' problem-solving skills through challenges or puzzles related to innovation and technology. Look for evidence of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Recommendation letter from current teacher, mentor or community leader who can attest to the student's potential for success in innovation and technology fields.
  • Take into account students' involvement in relevant ECAs, such as robotics clubs, coding camps, science competitions, or STEM workshops.
  • Look for evidence of leadership skills, teamwork, and collaboration in innovation and technology-related activities. Consider students' roles in leading projects, mentoring peers, or organizing events.

Scholarship: Covers 20% of tuition fees

]]> At SIA, athletic prowess meets opportunity through our Sports Scholarship program. This scholarship is tailored for students who demonstrate outstanding athletic abilities, commitment to sports, and the potential to be exemplary ambassadors of school spirit and sportsmanship. We support our athletes in achieving their full potential, both on the field and in the classroom.

Entry Criteria

  • The student requires a minimum level of proficiency in a specific sport or multiple sports. This could be demonstrated through participation in competitive leagues, tournaments, or events, as well as achievements such as medals, awards, or records from the previous 2 years.
  • Applications for non-DASSA sports will be considered.
  • Students’ physical fitness levels will be assessed through standardized fitness tests or evaluations. We will look for evidence of strength, speed, endurance, agility, and flexibility, which are essential for athletic performance.
  • Recommendations from a coach or trainer who can attest to the student’s athletic abilities, dedication, and potential for growth.
  • Students’ sportsmanship and character traits will be evaluated, such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, resilience, and respect for opponents and officials. We will look for evidence of positive attitude, fair play, and commitment to ethical values both on and off the field.

Scholarship: Covers 20% of tuition fees

Entry Criteria

  • Previous Report Card: The most recent report card from the applicant's previous school.
  • Confidential Report: A confidential report from the applicant's previous school.
  • Students should have a recorded a minimum of 98% school attendance over the last 12 months
  • An interview with the principal
  • Recommendation letter from Class Teacher

Academic Requirements for All Applicants:

  • For Below Year 2:
  • In-Person Assessments: Applicants will undergo in-person assessments to determine eligibility.
  • For Year 2 and Above:
  • CAT4 Assessments: Applicants must achieve a Mean SAS (Standard Age Score) average of 132.
  • Individual Battery Scores: A score of 100 in each of the following batteries is required:
  • Verbal
  • Non-Verbal
  • Quantitative
  • Spatial
  • A full report from the student's present school (both internal and external assessments with local and national ranking).
  • Students should have a recorded a minimum of 98% school attendance over the last 12 months
  • Students should submit outstanding reports of 2 years for review.
  • An interview with the principal
  • Recommendation letter from Class Teacher

Scholarship: Covers 20% of tuition fees

Additional Comments

  • Shortlisted candidates’ applications will be reviewed by SIA scholarship committee.
